Iguess...

I guess you all have figured out that the baby was born. LOL I had a beautiful, bouncing baby boy on July 6th. (I'm really bad about posting, no computer of my own) He weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces and was 20.5 inches long. He has RED hair. Go figure!!!! LOL He is now 3 months old and getting very big and he is sooooooooo much fun to play with. I just love him to pieces.

I'm such a bad girl at posting

I don't have a computer right now and have to bum time on my sisters so it is hard to post. Everything is going fine with the pregnancy. Baby is growing like he's supposed to and kicking his mommy's butt every chance he gets. Yes, It's going to be a boy. And he likes to hang out by Mom's ribs and that HURTS!!! He is due on July 10 and I can't wait for this to be over. I am sooo happy that I am having a baby, but I absolutely hate being pregnant. This kid will be spoiled rotten because he's the only one I'm having. :)

Hopefully I will be able to post sooner next time........but don't count on it. :)

Big News...Big News

Sorry it has been so long since I have posted, there has been a lot going on. First off, I don't miss Missouri anymore because I am back in Missouri. We moved back on December 2. Richmond just wasn't for us.

Second, I'm going to be a Mommy. I am only about 9 weeks along and probably shouldn't be talking about it yet, but I am too excited to contain myself. I go to my first doctor's appointment on December 14 and will tell you all about it.

I am glad to be bak in the STL. God how I missed it.

I Miss MO!!!

Man, I miss Missouri!! I never thought I'd say that, but I really do. I feel so out of place here, like the perverbial fish out of water. Like I said before, that it's just a matter of getting used to it, but....I will always be a Missouri girl at heart. AND I will always be just a little bit redneck. LOL This town and the people in it are both very nice, but they all seem just a bit pretentious.

I'm getting used to my job and I'm still liking it. There is a lot of paperwork to do when you're in management. I had forgotten about that. LOL (Also, working at a mall is hazardous to your bank account.)

Well, I'll close for now because I don't have much else to say. Just wanted to update and let everyone know that I am still alive. Later

I'm A Working Girl

Well, not that kind of working girl...but I have found a job. I am an Assistant Manager for the Kirkland's store here in the mall. Can you believe I got hired as an Assistant Manager?! Now for those of you that don't know what this store is...Kirkland's sells home decor and gifts. It's just a small store but I like is so far. Except, it has been a very long time since I have worked in retail and my poor body just isn't used to it. I come home in pain every day. My feet ache and my back is just impossible to deal with. I know it is just a matter of getting used to the physical activity though. Besides, it's good money and a chance to move up even further in the company.

C is still not working yet. He is supposed to start tomorrow. He had to go through all kinds of BS to get into this job. He had to take a test to get a CDL drivers license, go through a security background check, and take a drug test. The really bad thing is...we were under the impression that we were going to move out here and there would be a car for us to drive (yeah, one is in the shop and the other isn't drivable because it won't pass state inspection and we have to get it fixed to drive it), Chad would go right to work (I started working before him) and everything would be worked out for the kid's child support (we haven't been able to make a payment to them yet, I get paid Friday so I will be sending the money) nothing has worked the way it was supposed to be and I am not very happy about that. I guess it will all work out in the end. At least I hope that they will. I guess only time will tell.

How I got here

In answer to what some of you have asked...Chad got a job opportunity out here that just could not be passed up. He's starting school for HVAC on Tuesday night and its all paid for so...here we are.

We are living with his parents for the time being. A very short time, I hope, not that I don't like it here, their place is great. I just want our own space, ya know?

I have had an interview with Walgreens. I have a couple more interviews scheduled for next week so I don't figure I will be out of work for very long. There are SOOOOOOO many jobs opportunities here.

Getting a driver's license in this state is fun. You have to provide your old license, a piece of mail proving you are a resident of Virginia, your birth certificate and your Social Security card. Oh, and if you are a woman who is married and took her husbands last name, you have to provide your Marriage License. Have you ever heard of such a headache?!

I miss all my friends and family but I am making new friends and getting acquainted with Chad's family (finally, after six years of being with him) and I am sure that once I get settled in, and start working I will love it here.

Keep commenting on my blog. I love hearing from all of you. Miss you guys!

Guess What? I live in Virginia

Oh it is soooooo beautiful out here. The weather is a perfect 83 degrees, sunny, gorgeous blue skies. We live in a really upscale neighborhood now. (I feel like a rusted out Chevy on a lot full of brand new Mercedes here. LOL) The people are very friendly. And I'm looking for a job...but there are a lot to choose from around here. I don't think I will have a problem finding one at all.

So now that every one knows that I am OK I'm going to go put my feet up and rest. Looking for a job is almost more exhausting than actually working at one. LOL

I'll post again soon.
